TunSpray® is a high quality, disposable tundish lining material, used to cast clean steel, extend the life of permanent refractories and allow easy removal of the tundish skull. TunSpray® has been used for over 15 years in numerous steel mills worldwide.
COMAT® has various high quality, magnesite based formulations designed to meet all your continuous casting requirements. All products are produced at a SPC facility under ISO 9001:2008 standards and are stocked to ensure quick delivery.

Our TunSprayR tundish lining system provides unmatched consistency and quality. In fact, the past two world records for the number of consecutive heats of carbon steel continuously cast on either a single-strand or double-strand caster were set by AK Steel. Their Middletown, Ohio plant recently cast 2156 consecutive heats of steel using our TunSpray material.
The sequence was ended on May 4, 2010 for a planned maintenance outage.
During the 59-day sequence, a total of about 103 miles of carbon steel slabs
